With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Charlie Lipscomb, age 21, who left us far too soon on May 3, 2025.
Charlie is survived by his father Glenn (Jay) Lipscomb, Jr. and Amanda V.; brothers Jerry (Josie), Thomas, and Hassel; sisters Ellie and Payton; niece Anna-Elise Hayes Lipscomb; nephew Oliver Amadeus Lipscomb; grandparents Glenn and Katherine Lipscomb; and a large, loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Cynthia Hayes-Lipscomb; brother Pleasant Lipscomb; sister Delia Lipscomb; grandmother Susan Jacob; and great-grandmother Billiejean Lipscomb.
Charlie had a big heart and a vibrant spirit. He loved his family deeply and was thrilled about becoming a father. He was making plans to get his GED and driver’s license before his baby arrived, and he and Samantha had already started dreaming about names—wanting to name the baby Charlie if it was a boy.
Hardworking from a young age, Charlie began working at Turner’s Pool at just 15 years old, where he stayed for six years before spending some time at Knighton’s Saw Mill.
Charlie had many passions—he loved music, rodeos, and especially the thrill of drag racing. He enjoyed spending quiet moments fishing with his dad, and cherished the time they shared on the water.
His warm smile, generous heart, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7 from 2:00pm-4:oopm at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green ALL are welcome.
