William Lewis Parker, 71, passed away on June 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong resident of Sparta and a dedicated painter by trade, William was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He was united in marriage to Anna Marie Whitefield on June 28, 1982. This month would have marked their 43rd wedding anniversary—a testament to their enduring love.

William was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lewis Parker, and his daughter, Stephanie Parker.

William is survived by his wife, Anna; his mother, Margaret Loving Parker Tignor; his children, Edward Parker, Patricia Ellis (Andrew), and Kelli Stead (Joseph); his eight beloved grandchildren; and his brother.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
