Toni L. Yates Ackerman, 70 of King George, VA, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Mary Washington Hospital.  Born in El Paso, TX, she was the daughter to the late Floyd R. and Enid L. Gilmore Yates.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Aunt & Stepmother Eva Yates. Toni was a professional breeder of Basenjis for 39 years.  She especially enjoyed spending time with family. Survivors include her husband of 36 years David Clark Ackerman, Jr.; son Jacob Ackerman and daughter-in-law Crystal; son Jayce C. Ackerman; and grandson Sammy Ackerman.
