Alvin Thomas Morgan, 83, of Colonial Beach passed from life to life on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his home, with his two daughters by his side. Alvin dedicated much of his life in leading others to Christ, and he is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior.  Born in Oak Grove, he served in the United States Army and had retired from NSWC Dahlgren. Alvin also operated A/C Pump Service for many years. He was a Past Master of Colonial Beach Masonic Lodge #199 AF&AM and had been a member of Grace United Methodist Church and attended New Life Ministries in Colonial Beach. Survivors include his wife, Joan Robey-Morgan; his son, Ronald R. Morgan; daughters, Susan M. Robey and Linda Whicker-LiCalzi; stepsons, Donald E. Robey, Jr. and David M. Robey; his sister, Mabel M. Shinn; brother in law, Charles E. Keahey; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Alvin was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Jean Morgan, his son, Melvin Lee Morgan and his sister, Margaret M. Keahey. The family will receive friends Monday, November 2nd from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Colonial Beach chapel of Storke Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow in Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Life Ministries Bible College fund or Grace United Methodist Cemetery Fund.
