Linda Lou Coates, 75, of King George, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Fredericksburg. She was the daughter of the late James E. and Carol Louise Ferguson Carroll. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Coates. Survivors include children; Ginger Porter, David Mack, Michael Mack, Patricia Blake, Donald Coates, Laurissa Coates, Wendi Shackelford and Stephanie Davis; 23 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A service of remembrance will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, King George, with Reverend Dr. Sherman Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to assist with funeral expenses.
