Kenneth G. Jubb of  Colonial Beach, Va, was called home peacefully in his sleep by his Precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, December 11, 2020.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty Newton Jubb. He is also survived by his daughter Sandra Goodwin and her husband Art, his son Alan and his wife Jane, his sister Mildred Newton and her husband Lee. Kenneth is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Beverly Gene Jubb, mother, Mildred Young Hessler, father Elmer Charles Jubb, Sr., and brothers Elmer Charles Jubb, Jr. and Michael Eugene Hessler.

Kenneth was born in Baltimore, MD.  After moving to Falmouth, Va with his Mother and brother, he attended Falmouth High School and later worked in the Automotive Industry in the Fredericksburg area.  He accepted Jesus as his Savior at the age of 35 and soon after felt called to the ministry.  For the remainder of his life, with his wife by his side, he faithfully served the Lord as a teacher and preacher of God’s Word.  Later in life he completed his education at Virginia Baptist College, graduating Valedictorian with a Bachelor of Science in Ministry with a Concentration in Christian Education.

A funeral was held at Storke, Nash & Slaw Funeral Home followed by burial next to his son, Beverly, at Fletchers Chapel UMC in King George, Va. Instead of cards or flowers the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity.
