Florence Elizabeth Lowdermilk, 85 of Ruther Glen, VA passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021. She was born Friday, October 25, 1935 in Washington, DC, and graduated from McKinley High School in 1953. Her best friends from high school and to this day are; Barbara, Martha and Nancy. Florence was an amazing woman. She worked for Naval Sea Systems Command for 38 years, retiring as a GM13 in 1997. In her spare time, she loved to watch classic movies starring John Wayne and Glen Ford just to name a few. Florence married Thomas Lowdermilk and they moved to Florida where they had 2 children and in 1963 they divorced.

She is survived by her 2 children, James Lowdermilk and Julie Lowdermilk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Flora and James Gresham and her ex-husband Thomas Lowdermilk.
