Christopher Eston Clayton, 56 of Colonial Beach, passed away at Mary Washington Hospital on Saturday, May 1, 2021, due to complications from COVID-19. 

Son to Helga Clayton and the late Robert E. Clayton, Chris was born in Norwood, MA. on January 4, 1965.  He was a 1983 graduate of Thomas Stone High School in Waldorf, MD.  Chris married his wife Tina Clayton in 1998.  He was a family man who loved his wife and sons Nick, Andrew and Eric with all his heart.  Chris loved nature, reading, creative writing and music. He was a musician who wrote songs with his sons and in his earlier years played keyboards and sang in bands with his brother Sean. 

In addition to his wife Tina and mother Helga, he is survived by sons Nicholas, Andrew and Eric; brother Sean O. Clayton and his wife Beth; and nieces Rachel and Olivia.
