Betty J. Butler, 78 of Caroline County, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Betty was born on October 18, 1942 in Culpeper, to the late Charles Nickles and Vida Mae Short. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Butler; daughter, Patricia Butler; sister, Mary Cubbage and grandson, Michael Wayne Somers. Betty was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children, William R. Butler, Gregory Butler, Robert Butler, Timothy Butler, Bonnie Wilkerson, Donna Reynolds (Willie) and Katherine Castillo; ten grandchildren, William Somers (Melissa), Anthony Somers (Ashley), Chris Butler, Eugene Butler, Priscilla Butler, Brandon Butler, Joshua Reynolds, Justin Castillo, Jason Butler; nine great grandchildren and her sister, Catherine Butler. The family will receive friends at the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home on Saturday, May 15^th from 1:00 – 2:30pm, at which time a procession will leave for a 3:00pm graveside at Greenlawn Cemetery.
