She was the daughter of the late Harry and Joyce Lipshitz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Elinor B. Keuchle.
Bonnie attended North Western High School, class of 1962. She retired in 2017 after 30 plus years at DC Materials in Hyattsville, MD.
Bonnie will be remembered for her generous heart and genuine love for others. She enjoyed life to the fullest and made the world a more beautiful place with her smile and positive outlook. She loved to travel and fully embraced the adventure of life. Bonnie was known for her sense of humor, often performing stand-up comedy. She loved her many pets and made fast friends with other animals and their owners. Bonnie was truly young at heart and exuded a timeless beauty that endeared her to friends and family of all ages.
She is survived by her children, Steven Glenn Dodd, Sandra Lynn Rose Hofmeister and Gerald Scott Dodd; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Tino, Candice Titus, Michael Tino, Jimmy Dodd, Justin Dodd, Jeremy Dodd and Colton Dodd; 14 great-grandchildren, her brother Joel Lipsitz; and her former husband William Andrew Dodd, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 19 from 5:30p-7:30p, Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel. The funeral will be on Thursday, May 20 at10a, Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel with burial to follow at Potomac Baptist Church in King George.
