Erma N. Pauley, 91, of Glen Allen, VA passed away Friday, May 21, 2021, at Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, VA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edsel Pauley; and two sons, Joel and Darrell Pauley and brother, Dr. Darrell K. Gilliam. She will always be remembered as a unique lady; always stylish, a nurturing wife, mother, sister, friend to many. Her door was always open to family, friends or anyone in need. Be it friendship or fellowship, she lived her life by her Christian beliefs. She treasured her family and devoted her life to them. She loved to garden and enjoyed flowers. Yellow roses were her favorite as they were given to her on her wedding day by her beloved Edsel. Erma is survived by her children, Frank Pauley (Dianna), Allen Pauley (Carolyn), Michael Pauley, Pamela Hall (Russell); adopted son Harold Bruce; 9 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Carol Chase, Damaris Llewellyn and Laurel Rieks. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial following at Lakewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends noon to 2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
