John M. “Jack” McCullough, 77, of King George passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in Mary Washington Hospital. He was born on September 23, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA to John Sr. and Olga McCullough. After high school, he served in the United States Army and then graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from the Navy at NSWCDD after 35 years of service. He enjoyed the country life and spending time with his family and friends. Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Elaine. He is survived by his daughter, Jane M. McCullough of Bradenton, Florida; two sons, John McCullough and his wife, Leslie of King George and Michael McCullough and his wife, Rebekah of Moorefield, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Isabel, Olivia and Aubrey; his three brothers, Michael, David and Peter, their wives and children and several cousins. Jack will be interred with Elaine in Toppitzer Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 10th at 3:00pm in the King George chapel of Storke Funeral Home, 11089 James Madison Parkway, King George VA.
