Bobby Gravett Sylvia, 87, passed away on July 12, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was born on September 3, 1933 to Maurice and Ethel Sylvia in Alps, Virginia.

In 1954, Bobby served in the U. S. Army. He also worked at AP Hill as a telephone operator. Since 1961 to present, he dedicated his life to ministry work. He served in Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and other areas. Most recently he served in Tennessee and Kentucky.

He is survived by numerous cousins.

There will be a viewing from 12:00-2:00 followed by a funeral at 2:00 on Saturday, July 17, 2021. The viewing and funeral will be held at the Caroline Community Services Center, 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, VA. 22514.Burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery in Bowling Green.
