Kenneth Gordon Edwards, 86, of Bowling Green passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was the last of ten children of the late Linard and Etta Edwards of Caroline County. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shirley Kitts Edwards; a daughter, Cindy Massie; a granddaughter, Stacy Butzner (Kenny) of Spotsylvania; and a great-granddaughter, Kelsie Ann Butzner, who was the “apple of his eye”; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kenneth, known to his friends as “Buck; was born and raised in Caroline County. He served in the U.S. Army in 1950-1951; spent six years working as a deputy for the Caroline County Sheriff’s office and spent the remainder of his career as a self-employed contractor for REC. He was an avid huntsman and Nascar fan. He enjoyed farming and was well known for his impressive garden. A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green with Tommy Satterwhite officiating.
