Russell Lee Waggy (71), of King George, VA passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021. Russell was born on April 22, 1950. He graduated from Wynford High School in 1968 and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy retiring as a Senior Chief in 1991. Russell worked as an Electrician at Kings Dominion retiring in 2007 and continued working for NSA South Potomac -Dahlgren Navy MWR after his military retirement for 30 years retiring in 2016.

He was the son of the late Gail Russell Waggy and Eugenia A. Waggy (Fackler) of Bucyrus, Ohio. Russell was a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife Jeanne Waggy (Little) of 22 years; children, Trista Waggy-Conjelko (Rob), Brian Waggy, Kyle Rollins (Hillary) and Laura Monroe (Steven) and 5 grandchildren, Zachary, Erica, Ilyssa, Sophia, and Caleb, who he loved and enjoyed spending time with and his sister Sue and brother Jeff, numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to Russell’s visitation at Storke Funeral Home, 11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485 on Monday, August 16, 2021, from 12-1:30. A service will be take place following the viewing for friends and family. A private family graveside service will be held at Historyland Memorial Park, 11227 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Please wear a mask during visitation.

A service will be take place following the viewing for friends and family. A private family graveside service will be held at Historyland Memorial Park, 11227 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA 22485 at 2:30 pm.
