Constance (Connie) Britt, age 83, passed away peacefully August 18th, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

She was born February 22, 1938 in Washington DC, and worked over 40 years for the National Bank of Washington; starting as a teller while still in high school.  Working her way through the ranks, she eventually retired as a Senior Executive.  Connie loved her job, and the people she worked with were her second family.

She retired to an enjoyable life of farming in King George, VA with her husband and best friend, Robert Lee Britt, who preceded her in death in 2017.

Connie loved playing word games; “Words with Friends” was a favorite that she enjoyed playing with both old and new friends online, though every time she lost (which wasn’t often) was reportedly due to her opponent “cheating”.

In addition to her fondness of winning; her dry wit, and sarcastic sense of humor kept her family and friends on their toes.

Connie is survived by her three sons; William (Nancy), Christopher (Linda), and Charles (Christie), and 5 grandchildren she adored.
