Patricia (Patsy) Bella McDaniel, 81, of King George County, Va, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on August 21, 2021.

Pat was born in Campbell County, Va, on April 26, 1940 to Lester Arlo Mabe and Sadie Gallimore Mabe.  She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in King George, Va, and a volunteer worker for organizations such as Love Thy Neighbor and the King George Education Foundation FoxSmart and STEM Initiatives, as she loved helping people in the community.

Pat lived life to the fullest, had a genuine, selfless love for her family and friends, and took great pleasure in spending time with them.  She always had a spot open at her table for anyone to come and gather.  She loved going to Gospel sings, line dancing, and getting together regularly with her ladies and closest confidants. 

She was a kind and compassionate Mom, Grandmom, Aunt, and Cousin, and was fiercely protective of her family.  She loved hearing stories and about everyday events that were going on in our lives for the book she always said she was writing, and she never liked any detail being left out, no matter how small.

Pat was a devoted wife of 52 years to John O. McDaniel, who preceded her in death on December 2, 2010.  She is survived by a brother, Lester Mabe, Jr and his wife Mildred Mabe of Fredericksburg, Va; children Angela McDaniel Mersiowsky and her husband Richard, and Regina McDaniel Puckett and her husband Chance; four grandchildren, Russell Mersiowsky and his wife Ashley Kulynych Mersiowsky, Kerrianne Mersiowsky Pruitt and her husband John Pruitt, Brandi Puckett and Ezra Puckett; brother in-law Lawrence McDaniel and his wife Jane, all of King George, Va; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her very much.

Visitation will be held at 2 pm Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Storke Funeral Home in King George, Va, with services immediately following at 3 pm.  Burial will follow at Historyland Memorial Park, King George, Va.  A celebration of life will be held at 9191 Indiantown Road, King George, Va after burial services.
