Roy Lee Sneed, age 68 of Ruther Glen VA, passed away peacefully at home on September 8, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Roy was born June 28, 1953 in Chattanooga, TN.  He was a loving father and grandfather, a devoted husband, and a steadfast friend to many.  He always provided for those he loved.  He believed in working hard and playing hard.  He loved NASCAR and attended countless races with family and friends.  He loved to host cookouts and parties.  

He is survived by his daughter Ellie Sneed and his son George Thomas Sneed, his wife Wendy Staples Sneed, his sister Brenda Hundley, his grandchildren Samantha Walker and George Sneed, and two great-granddaughters as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents Odell Pearson Sneed and Joe Sneed, his sisters Joanne Dunn and Betty Jean Lucy, and his brothers James and Donald Sneed.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service to be held 11am Saturday, September 18th at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Road, Hanover VA.
