Alvin “Al” Frey, Sr., 83, of King George, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

He was born in Plain City, Ohio to the late Simon and Katie Frey.

After retiring from his career as a mechanic at Barney & White Auto and Truck, Al enjoyed golfing, building models, 3-D puzzles and Legos.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Theresa; six children, Debbie Howard (Ernie), Leonard Frey (Jean), Joni Wright (Roger), Martha Denser, Alvin Frey, Jr., (Ronda), and Randy Frey (Cathy); 11 grandchildren, Nicole, Ernie Jr., Lenny, Katrina, Tonya, Tracy, Samantha, Holly, Hannah, Zachary and Sarah; 15 great-grandchildren, Carissa, Faith, Dominique, Nevaeh, Kylee, Carson, Isabella, Corra, Melody, Byron, Kaila, Tony, Nicholas, Brayden and Silas; one great-great grandchild, Ryder; and one brother, Sam Frey (Mary).

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by stepmother Martha Frey and two sisters, Anna Frey and Susie Gruber.

The family plans a celebration of life in Ohio.
