Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintLarry Mason Cameron, 86, of King George County died Friday, September 17, 2021. He was born on January 31, 1935 in Warrenton, VA. He graduated King George High School in 1953, and was one of the founding members of the King George High School football team. After graduation, he moved to NOVA where he worked for the FBI as a courier and IBM as a Data Analysis Manager. In 1976, he and his family moved back to King George. Where he and his brothers in-law started the Camlift Corp. Camlift owned Clift Lumber and Supply, Clift Sales and Service, and several rental properties in King George. For many years, he served as the Treasurer for the King George Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time he enjoyed being a member of Hudson-Morris Lodge #80, ACCA Temple, Heritage Shrine Club and Mini Trucks, and the King George Historical Society.
Larry is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Ann (Clift) Cameron. He loved and cared for his wife to his last breath. He is also survived by his daughter, Barbara Taylor (Gil); son, Douglas Cameron (Belinda); daughter, Diane Anderson (Dave); granddaughters, Sarah French (Andy), Samantha Anderson, Rebecca Anderson and grandsons, Andy Taylor; Bryan Cameron (Selah); great-granddaughters, Elena Johnston, Catherine French and great-grandson, Theodore French.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Mary P Cameron and Mason (Jack) Cameron, and his son David M. Cameron.
A private graveside service will be held.
