Don was a hard worker, whether on the dairy farm, on the construction site, or in his shop.
Since his move to Bowling Green in 1972, he was a well-known talented home builder and cabinet maker. His work is on display in many homes and churches in the area. Don was also a talented musician, who could play any string instrument he picked up. In his earlier years, he and the band could be found playing at their Glendale Country Club.
Don also had a love and talent for fishing. He and his buddy Mike Alsop could often be found in the bass boat solving the worlds problems.
Don and Lil were active members of Spotswood Baptist Church until their health prevented them from attending.
Survivors include his children, Brenda Bowles (Don), Peggy Wright, Judy Beazley (Darrell) and Donald L. Robinson Jr. (Robin); his brother, William Robinson Tinsley; seven grandchildren who lovingly called him “Baubie” Ashley Morgan, Jonathan Ratcliffe, Whitney Watts, Morgan Schoonover, Tyler Dunnington, Jarred Alsop and Donald L. Robinson III; and nine great grandchildren, McKinlee Ratcliffe, Aubree Morgan, Kennedy, Reese, and Walker Watts, Graham and Tessa Dunnington, and Lillian and Mason Robinson.
The family would like to thank Don’s faithful caregivers, Dare Wright, Patsy Beazley and Lillie Mae Farmer.
