Ann (Terrie) Therese O’Connor Silva

March 6, 1957 - June 27, 2023

A celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, 29 July 2023 in King George, VA.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish to remember Terrie in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF), https://primaryimmune.org.

Ann (Terrie) Therese Silva (O’Connor), 67 died after a long illness June 27, 2023, at home in King George, VA.  She was born March 6, 1957, in Gloucester MA, the daughter of William E. and Carol Ann (French) O’Connor.

Terrie graduated from Rockport High School, Class of 1975.  Following graduation, she started her dedicated service to her nursing career graduating from North Shore Community College, Class of 1977. While serving at Addison Gilbert Hospital (Gloucester MA), she met and married her husband Mark Silva (Gloucester, MA) and traveled following him in his US NAVY career to Connecticut (Lawrence Memorial Hospital New London CT) and Virginia (Riverside Regional Medical Center followed by Mary Immaculate Hospital Newport News VA), finally settling in King George VA.

In addition to her parents, previously departed loved ones include her grandson Mark Ronnie Silva. Surviving in addition to her husband, Mark Silva Sr, are her son Mark Silva Jr and his wife, Michelle, of Warrenton, VA, Kathryn Betts and her husband, David, of Westminster, MD; five grandchildren Abigail Betts, Connor Betts, Joseph Betts, William Silva, and Gabriel Betts; six brothers, William O’Connor and his wife, Danielle, of Gloucester, James O’Connor and his wife, Suzette, of Rockport, Sean O’Connor, of Gloucester, Christopher O’Connor, of Rockport, Brian O’Connor of Gloucester, and Patrick O’Connor and his wife, Holly of Gloucester; many nieces and nephews.
