Its been many years since I last saw Aunt Bea though we would speak late at night because she was up...watching basketball. It was a big deal when I was younger to stand next to her. Stephanie and I were so excited when we would pass her in height. I think she was 4ft 11 inches? She always had a smile on her face and a giggle. She would sit and chat with her nieces and pretend to tell us secrets just to see what my dad...her baby brother's reaction would be. Her house was fun to visit too...the pond to go fishing and a litter of beagles to play with. She was married to Uncle William who as a lovable prankster. She is now with her family in Heaven and its a blessing to have known her. Love you Aunt Bea.

I have many great memories as a child of Aunt Bea. She always had a great laugh and a big smile on her face. I loved going to visit Aunt Bea and Uncle William and fishing in the pond and playing with her puppies. I can hear the sound of her voice as she always called my father J. O. She would be calling for him to help her take care of the animals or something that she needed his help when she came to visit at Christmas time in Texas. Her memory is with me forever.

It is with a heavy heart I offer my condolences on Bea's passing. Bea worked for my grandfather and my father for as long as I can remember. She was one of the kindest, most patience and loyal people I have ever known. As a child I loved and admired her so much. After Blatt Chevrolet sold we did not stay as connected as we should have, but when my father died, Bea came to visit me with her famous shrimp gumbo! I was able to visit with her several times at the Bowling Green Rehabilitation Center. Bea was such positive influence in my life. I am sure there were many times when Bea was the glue that held Blatt Chevrolet together! Bea was a remarkable person! I will never forget her! May she rest in eternal peace.
