A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2023 in the Storke Funeral Home Chapel, Colonial Beach. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colonial Beach United Methodist Church.
Oscar E. Krombholz, 87, of Colonial Beach Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. An Air Force Veteran and retired building contractor, Oscar was an avid music enthusiast who played guitar and banjo and sang. He especially enjoyed musical gatherings with his family and many friends. He stayed busy with various projects and was always willing to offer his help to others. Oscar loved to fish, bake artisanal bread and make sausage and scrapple. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathryn and Emil, his grandson, Justin Krombholz and a sister, Senna Krombholz.
Oscar is survived by Lois, his wife and love of his life for 67 years; his four children Kathryn Vining (Robert) of Fredericksburg, Brenda Parker of Warrenton, Cynthia Ashley (David) of Owings, MD and Bruce Krombholz of Huntsville, AL; brother Louie Krombholz (Judy) of Ormond Beach, FL; sister Helen Niswander of Colonial Beach; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
