SSgt James C Shepard, 32 years old of South Riding, VA, born March 7, 1991, passed away July 5, 2023 in San Diego, CA.
James, son, brother, nephew, grandson, friend…Marine, who served his country September 2011 until July 5, 2023.
A wonderful son, brother and friend, you made us all proud. We are sad you are no longer here, we are comforted by our
wonderful memories of you.
He is survived by his mother and step-dad, Kristine & Michael Baptiste; sisters, Maritza & Symone Baptiste; brother, Michael
Baptiste Jr; father and step-mother, Christopher & Nancy Shepard; grandmothers, Barbara Carter and Doris Shepard; uncles John & Robert Carter, Edward Shepard, and many cousins.
