My mother, Olive Edwards King, and her brother George Edwards and Billy were first cousins. Our families and their spouses stayed close. We all have taken many a cruise with Alice Marie and Billy. They were the best of times. They are all together now. May they all be rejoicing in heaven.

Alice Marie and Billy were, to me, full of Christ\'s love, the embodiment of family, and the picture of grace. I will always be in appreciation to Alice Marie for our conversations in 2015 during my project of writing a biography about my grandfather. Only when I began to collaborate with her on that project, did I begin to understand what an extraordinary life Alice Marie Mothershead had lived. She was one of a kind, and will be missed.

Taken on September 21, 2015 in Alexandria, VA on the occassion of the birthday Alice Marie's cousin Gary Dickinson. The part also celebrated the completion of a biography written by me about the Dickinson family.
