Andrea Barrett Graves, 55, passed away peacefully at her residence in King George, VA on the afternoon of Sunday, October 22, 2023 after a long illness.
Ann was born in Baltimore, MD to Robert Andrew and Dorothy Lee Barrett in December 1967. She studied first at the University of Maryland and later at Towson University where she graduated in 1990 with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Mathematics. She worked in marketing and sales for several companies before retiring to become a homemaker.
She was passionate about politics and homeschooling, and loved to cook, read, travel and spoil her two dogs Chloe and Daisy. All who knew her will miss her distinctive sense of humor and hearty laugh.
Ann is preceded in death by her father, Robert. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Robert H. Graves; her daughter Ollie Graves of King George; her mother Dorothy of Crofton, MD; brother Kevin Barrett and sister Kathleen Mackey, both of Crofton, MD; two nieces and six nephews.
