Allan, Carol, Ashley and Devin, My heart is heavy and I am deeply saddened to hear of Betty's passing. I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. Betty was one of the best and strongest women I have ever known. I came to know and love her like a sister in the 20 plus years at Naval Space Surveillance and Naval Space Command. She was such a good, hard working and determined person, always upbeat and smiling. I will always treasure our conversations. Please know she loved all of you more than anything and talked about you all the time. I know this is a very hard time for you and hope you can find some peace and comfort in knowing how much Betty was loved and respected. My heartfelt sympathies to all of you and my thoughts are prayers will be ongoing to you. Go rest high Betty, you were one of a kind.

Betty was by far one of the nicest people, and best coworkers, I've ever known. She was always supportive, kind, and 'mission oriented' when I worked with her for a couple decades at Naval Space Surveillance (and later Naval Space Command). Her laughter, quick smile, and lively spirit made her a joy to be around. She is greatly missed. I extend my condolences and prayers for comfort., and peace, to her family and loved ones.
