Charles “Raymond” Carter, 78, of Ruther Glen, died Friday, October 27, 2023 at his home with his family by his side. Born in Caroline County, he was the son of Conway and Mary Carter. He was a member of County Line Baptist Church and retired after 34 years from McLane. Raymond loved gospel blue grass music, the outdoors and his garden. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Terry Carter; his daughter, Rebecca Carter Hoskins; his sister, Mildred Carter Cook and a brother, Millard “Muddy” Carter (Carrie). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Wesley Lloyd Carter; two brothers, Ernest Carter and Alfred Carter and a son-in-law, Eric Hoskins. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.  A funeral service will be held 11:00 Am Friday Nov. 3, 2023 County Line Baptist Church.
