Claude Edward “Chopper” Cannon, 94, of Woodford died Sunday, January 1, 2023 at VCU Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hart Cannon; three sons, David Cannon, Samuel Cannon and Edward Cannon and three great grandchildren. Chopper loved his family, hunting, fishing and riding around the block. Survivors include two sons, Danny Cannon and Timmy Cannon; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
