Debra Ann Shields, known as Debi to most, of King George, Virginia passed away peacefully the morning of December 17^th, 2023.  Her unconditional love and sense of humor will be greatly missed by her husband of many years, Joseph Shields, her two daughters, Olivia East and Katrina Mills, her three step daughters; Jennifer and April Shields and Carol Mullins, and her six grandchildren. Her brothers Dennis, Butch, and Tom welcomed her at the gates of heaven and now the four of them will watch over their two surviving sisters; Betty Gayle and Bonnie Berkley. Debi dedicated over thirty years of service to the Central Rappahannock Regional Library and a lifetime of love and memories to those lucky enough to know her.  A Celebration of Life date is forthcoming and will be held when families that live out of state are able to more easily attend. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local SPCA or Saint Jude’s Hospital.
