Delty, my loving, kind, unselfish, pure of heart husband was the husband wives hope to have. Few do. God blessed me and gave me 48+ years to be with him. I told him he was my earthly rock…it was so true. The best part of me is gone and this time I don’t have a return date from TAD to be with him. I thank all of his true USMC brothers and his fellow employees at BOA for their true kind words they have posted. He was a man of integrity and so humble, he was unaware of his rare qualities. Who could be worthy of such a man. I wasn’t.

I had the privilege of serving with Del both in the Marines as well as at Bank of America. Del was one of the finest Marines I ever served with, always a positive attitude and always took care of his Marines. He continued his excellent leadership skills into his work with the Bank, always doing an exceptional job in the Network area and was well liked and respected by all those who worked with him. My condolences to the Branch family....

I worked with Del at Bank of America. I used to ask him for information all the time. Probably to a point of annoyance but he was thoughtful and patient with me. I lost touch with him a few years ago but will still miss him.

Such a funny guy. He had a great sense of humor and teased his sisters every chance he got. He was a gentle soul with a kind heart. He was so loved and is so missed.

I'm very sorry to hear that Del left this world so soon. My sincerest condolences to his family. I had the honor of working with Del for 18 years at Bank of America, and he was an outstanding colleague. Smart, funny, kindhearted and an excellent teammate.

Del was such an excellent manager to me at the bank for about 12 years, until he retired in 2018. Over those years he was instrumental in mentoring and guiding me to increase my knowledge and I am forever grateful for him. He was so encouraging, compassionate for all, and always had a story to tell us lol. Being one of the younger associates under him, Del always spoke positivity and expressed his proudness of my accomplishments to me. Not many times do you find a manager who is technical and personable. Normally, it's either one or the other. However, with Del he was the best of both worlds. Just so kind and fair. He simply was the BEST and will be greatly missed. Rest in Eternal Peace Del...

Dell was a great guy that I had the pleasure of working with as a team mate in the VTAM group at the bank. We had lunch many times and shared stories and current events. Worked on many projects and always had fun doing the job on our plate..... I retired many years ago and I still remember the good times with good folks and Dell was one of those individuals I have very fond memories of joking and laughing with driving down daily to get lunch down the road ....laughing and joking at lunch . I know he will be missed. RIP friend and thanks for your service to our Country. Mark Layne Garris

Dell was an amazing man and was always there to help out in any way he was able to. He was so missed when he left the bank. He will be missed greatly by all whose lives he touched. He always had a smile on his face and was a great person to work alongside. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Thank you for all you did to help everyone at the bank and thank you for your service!
