Dionne C. Cole, 57, of Colonial Beach, VA passed away after a brief, courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Dionne was a compassionate caregiver, dedicating her life to the well-being of her clients. She brought comfort and kindness to those she cared for, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.
A true fan of the 49ers, Dionne’s passion for the team was evident in every game she watched. Beyond her love for football, Dionne was known for her excellent culinary skills; she could effortlessly craft a delicious meal, turning ordinary moments into memorable experiences.
Dionne is preceded in death by her parents, Leroy Ward Jr. & Jan Hunt; and husband, Jimmy Smithson.
Dionne is survived by her sisters, Danielle Gillon (Craig Sr.) and Dana Long (Brian); half-sister, Lisa Washington; nieces and nephews, Rashani, Craig Jr., Jerzy, Zurie, Saron, Erin, and Eva; cousin, Melania; and mother-in-law, Renetta Zanco (Phil).
