Frank Preston Pratt, Jr., 86, of Ladysmith died Monday, November 27, 2023 at his home. Born in Washington, DC, he owned and operated a trash removal service. He was a very hard worker and known to be a good, honest man. He enjoyed bowling and boating. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Pratt, whom he had been happily married to 65 years; his children, Gary Pratt (Julie) and Dawn York (Scott); a brother, Robert Pratt; a sister, Susan Williams; three grandchildren, James Pratt, Taylor White-Assali (Ronnie) and Kaylee York; and two great grandchildren, Marley and Madison. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 1, 2023 at Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 Kings Highway, Alexandria, VA 22306.
