Gerald Stephen Ceccarelli, 81, of King George, VA passed away on August 6, 2023. With a keen wit and an infectious laugh, Gerald brightened the lives of those around him. Each morning, he would begin his day at Sheetz, where he’d indulge in his favorite routine of coffee and lottery ticket purchases. An avid outdoorsman, Gerald pursued various game, from deer and foxes to rabbits and turkeys. He found solace in tinkering with his tractor and displayed a remarkable talent for working with his hands. His passion for cultivating a bountiful vegetable garden was a testament to his unwavering dedication.

Gerald’s interests extended beyond the soil and workshop. He was a NASCAR enthusiast and a devoted follower of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr., finding excitement in the roar of the racetrack. Gerald’s devotion to his family was evident, and he took great pride in being a loving father.

Gerald is preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Toms. He is survived by his children, Dean (Jennifer), Doug (Sharon), Craig, and Tina Marie; sister, Kathryn Thompson; brother, Ron (Gail); grandchildren, Tabatha, Danielle (Matt), Derrick, Justin, Jordan, Israel, and Faith; and friends, Okelea Johnson, Westlee and Austin Bergmann.

No services will be held at this time. Gerald’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
