Jean “Jeannie” Marie (Bowler) Frampton of King George, Virginia gained her wings on March 27, 2024 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born on September 7, 1953 to the late Henry and Charlotte (Kay) Bowler of Rollins Fork, Virginia. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Henry “Sneaky Pete” and sister, Darlene Bowler.

Jeannie was a devoted and loving wife to her husband of 52 years, David “Mike” Frampton, who survives her. She is also survived by her two daughters, Tammy (Chris) Casazza of Louisa, VA and Jenny (Terry) Rought of Locust Grove, VA; four grandchildren, Zakary Frampton, Trevor Torrice, Nicholas Rought and Kasey Casazza; four great grandchildren, Spencer, Asher, Josiah and Alayiah; two sisters, Nancy (Roy) Trivett of Montross, VA, Julia Grimes (Bruce Dyer) of Colonial Beach, VA; sister in law, Joyce (Henry) Bowler of Colonial Beach, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved pet cat, Simba.

Coming from a family of musicians, Jeannie grew up singing bluegrass and country music, never missing a weekend or annual family functions. She especially loved singing gospel music with her sisters.

Jeannie found joy in dancing, bowling, and other extracurricular activities with her sisters, creating cherished memories during their adventures across the country.

Jeannie was a fabulous cook, renowned for her potato salad, coleslaw, and chicken barbecue. Her generous spirit ensured that all who came to visit were well-fed, and she took pride in her cooking, often teasing her sisters that she could make any dish better.

Jeannie had a passion for thrifting and was always on the hunt for antique or vintage finds.

Later in life, she always looked forward to her brother’s, “Sneaky Pete”, annual horse shoe tournament where she would be able to relive the past times of singing, dancing, laughing & showing her family how much she loved them.

As a witty and spunky woman, Jeannie loved to joke and was cherished by all who knew her. She treasured spending time with her family, finding immense joy with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
