Jennifer Lynn McCord, 44, of King George, VA passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2023.

After graduating from Colonial Beach High School, Jenny attended Ferrum College where she majored in Psychology. She enjoyed being a cheerleader throughout her high school and college years, as well as teaching cheerleading workshops over the summers. She loved watching football and baseball, especially the Washington Nationals. Jenny loved her community and enjoyed golf cart rides around Colonial Beach.

Jenny had an infectious laugh and a beautiful smile that would light up a room. Her sweet nature impacted so many lives.

Survivors include her children, Mia Bua, AJ Bua, and Jaxson Bua; parents, Jim & Claudia McCord; significant other, Chris Pelkey; brothers, Jim McCord (Amy), Roger Pratt, Greg McCord, and Frank Pratt (Cindy); many nieces, nephews, and friends that loved her, and a beloved cat, Tabitha.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm Friday, March 10, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, Colonial Beach with Pastor Bob Powers officiating.
