Joanne Madison, 62, of Ruther Glen passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, January 7, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Ann Collison Madison and her sister Glennis Madison.  Joanne is survived by her father William R. Madison of Ashland; three sisters, Mary Patterson of Ruther Glen, Lillie Stanley and Penny Madison both of Buena Vista; one brother William Madison, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; her devoted friend and adopted mom Virginia Barker; devoted friends Kim Barker, Erlene Seay and Cindy and her canine companion and love of her life Marcus.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
