Joseph Wendall “Joe” Perhacs, 77, of King George, formerly of California passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2023.  Joe was born in Riverside, California to Joseph and Lavern Perhacs.

Joe loved to work with his hands and enjoyed fixing or building things.  That led to him spending his working years serving in a variety of jobs that allowed him to do just that.  He absolutely loved to fish, tinker with cars, build “things” regardless of how large or small, and almost ANY type of automobile racing.  Once Joe made the big move to King George, VA he spent many of his days sitting on a small dock wetting a line in the Potomac River with the occasional planned or unplanned dip in the water.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Ginny and Peggy, and his nephews Mike and Kenny.  He is survived by his twin sister JoAnn Norfleet (James) of King George and his brother Greg Perhacs (Lynn) of Apple Valley, California and many nieces and nephews.

A private Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the C.A.S.T for Kids Foundation (https://castforkids.org/cast-ways-to-give/) in honor of Joe’s love for fishing.  Online condolences may be left for the family at ww.storkefuneralhome.com.
