Julia Jarrell Jones, 96, of Ruther Glen, died Friday, January 19, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Born in North Carolina, she was one of nine children born to the late Ellard Grady Jarrell and Mary Leota Vernon Jarrell. She was the widow of the late Clarence Jones. She had retired as a postal clerk from the United States Postal Service. She is survived by her four children, Alvin Jones (Diane), Wilson Jones (Debbie), Ellard Jones (Debbi) and Nancy Albright (Michael); one brother, Garner Jarrell; eight grandchildren, Lee, Lauren, Lindsey, Justin, Timothy, Spencer, Rachel and Abby; twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven siblings.  A memorial service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Carmel Baptist Church.
