Katherine Loving “Kitty” Courtney, 94, of Mechanicsville passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023.  She was a former employee of Philip Morris.  She was preceded in death by her husbands Golden Prince and Luke Courtney; her brothers Wesley Loving, Charlie Loving, Harry Loving and Davis Loving; her sisters Dorothy Seal and Pearl Tignor.  Kitty is survived by her sister Margaret Tignor of Caret; her brother Joseph “Pete” Loving (Charlotte) of Sparta and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the graveside 12 Noon  Thursday, January 26, 2023 in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Sparta.
