Lance will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but also for the warmth, generosity, and joy he brought to the lives of those around him. May he rest in peace.

Lance Christopher Weekly, 54, of King George, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2024. Born in Alexandria, Virginia to Shelby Jean Lafferty Weekly and the late Charles Ronald Weekly, Lance was a 1987 graduate of McDonough High School. He furthered his education at Lincoln Tech, specializing in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, ultimately becoming a Master HVAC Technician. Lance not only excelled in his career but also generously shared his knowledge, mentoring others in the same field. With a remarkable intuitive nature, he had the ability to fix anything he touched, earning him the reputation of a Jack Of All Trades. Lance was known for his unwavering loyalty and had a stellar professional standing.

At home, Lance was the “Grill Master”, showcasing his culinary prowess with the perfect ribeye. His 1969 Chevelle was his pride and joy, reflecting his passion for classic cars. Lance had a fondness for collecting memorabilia. However, above all, Lance cherished his beloved wife of 22 years, Faye Ann Shipley Weekly.

Preceding him in death were his father, Charles Ronald Weekly, daughter Syklar Shelby Weekly, and father-in-law Jeff Carrigan.

Survivors include his adoring wife Faye; son Landon Christopher Weekly; mother Shelby Weekly; mother-in-law Judith Carrigan; sisters-in-law Jessica (Scott) Jackson, Melissa Carrigan; brother-in-law Anthony (Davanna) Carrigan; dogs Gizmo and Buddy; many nieces and nephews; close friends, and respected co-workers.

The family will receive friends from 10-12 on Saturday, January 6, at Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12 noon.
