Larry C. Bailey, 79, of King and Queen died Sun. Sept. 13, 2020 at Henrico Doctors Hospital. Born in Petersburg, he had retired from the Defense Supply Center of Richmond. He was a U. S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam and received two Purple Hearts. He is survived by his wife, Joyce M. Bailey and her children, Charles P. Mezera (Geraldine) and Maureen Haake (Tom); and a nephew, Wayne E. Bailey. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, Sept. 18, 2020 at Salem Baptist Church, Sparta, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Salem Baptist Church, 24032 Sparta Road, Milford, VA  22514.
