Lawrence “Larry” Hendrick, 70, of Midlothian died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022 at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a retired Funeral Director and owner of a Funeral Removal Service. He was a 1977 graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. He was employed with Earthman’s Funeral Home and Houston Mortuary Service before moving back to Virginia, where he worked at several funeral homes. He was born in a three room house in Mecklenburg County to Walter and Gladys Hendrick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Maj. Dennis Todd Hendrick; brother Gerald “Jerry” Hendrick and his ex-wife, Mary M. Hendrick. He leaves behind his son, Dakota Lane Hendrick; two brothers, Roger Dale Hendrick and Ricky Hendrick (Sallie) two sisters, Janet Heath (Dennis) and Brenda Berryman; two grandsons, Dennis Ray and Tyler Earl Henrick and a granddaughter, Jadyn.
