Leroy B. Cauley, 79, of Mechanicsville passed away, Monday, December 30, 2019 at Memorial Regional Medical Center. Born in Hampton, he had a long career as a plumber. He worked for R.J. Tilley for over 20 years and most recently at Monroe Towers in Richmond. He loved hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Clara Cauley; daughter in law, Charlene Lewis; two grandchildren, Drew Lewis and Sarah Beverly; one great grandchild, Emerson Lewis; his brother’s in law, Walter Seay, Ernest Seay, Gayle Seay and Aubrey Seay; numerous nieces and nephews and his dogs, Dottie and Katie. He was preceded in death by his sons, George Lewis and John Wayne Lewis. A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 5th at 2:00 pm in County Line Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
