Madalyn R. Leonard, 72, of Sparta passed away Friday, April 10, 2020.  Born in Fredericksburg, she had retired as a civil servant with the Department of Army. She was an avid flower gardener, an accomplished artist and painter, and enjoyed singing all her life.  She is survived by husband, Robert Leonard; her step-children, Donna Jo Case and Dale Leonard; her daughter in law, Tammie Loe; grandson, Robert Jesse Loe and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Loe in 2018. Madalyn’s wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
