Farewell services will be private with a celebration of life to follow.
Marcel Dietrich Pfalzgraf, 81, of King George, formerly of Fairfax County, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 10, 2022, after a long struggle with Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM).
A loving husband and father, his greatest joys in life were spending time with family, taking long walks, living by the beautiful Potomac River, and spending time in his workshop making amazing furniture. Before retiring from Fairfax County Government’s Department of Information and Technology, he served with distinction in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carole DeBord Pfalzgraf; their two children, Lori Linville (Rex) and Todd Pfalzgraf (Kim); four grandchildren, Jordan Linville, Owen Linville, Aiden Pfalzgraf, and Caiden Pfalzgraf; brother, Donald Pfalzgraf (Sande); sisters, Connie Myers (Dennis) and Janet Harrover (James); and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Marcel Chasseur Pfalzgraf, and mother, Jane Main Pfalzgraf.
