Peggy was born on September 20, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Charles and Mary O’Shaughnessy and passed away February 10, 2020. On June 15, 1957, she married Richard Meyer. They raised two daughters, Linda and Donna, and two sons, Michael and Christopher. She and her family moved often as they were a military family and Peggy was able to live in many locations throughout the country. She received a degree in Psychology from Pace University in Pleasantville, New York. Peg worked for over 25 years at the financial aid office, finishing her career as the Director of Financial Aid, at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York. Peggy was known for her quick wit, generosity, and loving spirit. She had a passion for family vacations to the beach, travel, mystery novels, card games, and all things Irish. She never missed an opportunity to watch the sun set or cook for her family. She is survived by two sisters and her brother, three children and eight grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM .
