The family will receive friends at 11am on Thursday, August 10 at Shiloh Baptist Church in King George. A funeral service will begin at 12, followed by burial in the church graveyard.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the funeral expenses may be made to Storke Funeral Home.
Margaret “Margie” Gutridge 79 of King George departed her life on July 27, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
Margie was a long time employee at White’s Packing in Dogue Va. She was known for her Gorgeous big blue eyes, huge heart, her contagious laugh and her love for Elvis Presley. She loved spending time cooking Sunday dinner for her family and friends. She was out spoken and had a Witty sense of humor.
Margie is preceded in death by her mother Ellen Jenkins, Father William Jenkins, Brother William “Bubby” Jenkins, Sisters Barbara “Peggy” Atkinson, Etta “Jean” Gutridge.
Margie is survived by her Sister Mary Lou & Husband Mike Gill, Brother Jimmy Jenkins; Children Mary Ann Atkinson, James & Kelly Gutridge, Darryl “Tony” Gutridge Sr. & Laura Staples, Debra & Ricky Wilmouth; 11 GrandChildren Melissa Cole, Christena Hall, Christopher Ford, Hayley Hedrick, Shavonne, Darryl Jr, Synquis, Latrey, Kevin, Holly & Heather Gutridge; 21 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, Niece Barbara “Darlene” Taylor and numerous nephews.
