Pauline Beazley Gayle, 88 of Ashland passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Born in Caroline County, she was the widow of Willard Mason Gayle and had retired from Airco Gases in Hanover. She and her late husband owned and operated Gayle’s Automotive in Beaverdam and were active members of Winn’s Baptist Church in Glen Allen. In addition to her husband, Pauline was preceded in death by her son, Keith Gayle; her brothers, Edgar and Jimmy Beazley and her sisters, Evelyn Brooks, Shelva Taylor and Susie Whitbeck. Survivors include her grandson, Chris Gayle; her sister, Margaret Watts; her daughter in law, Debbie Gayle; her brothers in law, Kenneth Taylor and Alvin Whitbeck; her great grandchildren, Mason and Shaynah Gayle and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 29^th at 11:00am in Winn’s Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church, one hour prior to the service. Immediately following the funeral, everyone is invited to a reception there at the church. The graveside committal will take place at 2:00pm at Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover Courthouse.
